Butterfly Dreams — Black Wool Embroidered Boho Jacket, OOAK Wearable Art

A modern day uptake on the 1940's style Mexican cardigan jacket, this stylish wool swing jacket is machine embroidered with brightly colored butterflies embellishing the back. I also appliqued some bright rainbow crocheted butterflies amidst the embroidered ones. The buttonless front features two patch pockets, also embroidered.

There is a flat collar and all around the edges I hand embroidered small cross stitches with yarn that coordinates with the colors of the machine embroidery.

The fabric is a medium weight brushed wool crepe that has been lightly felted. 

This unlined jacket's generous cut should fit anyone between Sizes 2 and 12. (see measurements below) The model is 5'6" and a size 3/4, with 14.5" shoulders. If the sleeves need adjustment, they look great rolled up so can accommodate being too long or too short.
